Where in Miami to Watch the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup

The eighth edition of the FIFA Women's World Cup is officially underway in France. As soccer fans across the world root for their national teams, we have picked out the best places in South Florida to catch all of the matches.

Fritz & Franz Bierhaus

60 Merrick Way, Coral Gables, FL 33134

Early morning matches? Not to worry! Fritz & Franz Bierhaus will open early at 7:30 a.m. for all of the matches. The Bierhaus will serve a breakfast menu during the morning matches and the regular menu during the day along with an array of specials depending on the day of the week and the match. Stop by for a 2-liter das boot of beer and some of Miami’s finest German food. Pro-tip: we highly recommend the pretzel and cheese spread while you root for your favorite team(s).

Black Market Miami

168 SE 1st Street, Miami, FL 33131

With over 10,000 square feet of space and plenty of TV screens, Black Market Miami is Miami’s ultimate sports lounge to watch the FIFA Women’s World Cup. This nostalgic Miami sports bar brings back the era of Miami’s sports scene in the 80’s. Black Market Miami features weekday two-for-one happy hours and a food menu that includes hall of fame burgers (we’re talking mac n’ cheese burgers), buffalo wings, cheesesteak sandwiches, Isla Canarias croquetas, buffalo cauliflower bites, and even kale and quinoa salads for those looking to keep it healthy. Just make sure to save room for dessert. Black Market’s fried Oreos will make you feel like a winner regardless of the final score.

South Pointe Tavern

40 South Pointe Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33139

Stop by South of Fifth (SoFi) on South Beach for a visit to South Pointe Tavern to watch all of this year's matches and practices each day. The Tavern’s doors open at 8 a.m. and their breakfast menu boasts many morning favorites to include avocado toast (made with Zak's Rye bread, house-salsa and poached egg), traditional eggs Benedict (hollandaise sauce, Canadian bacon, English muffin and optional eggs Florentine or smoked salmon) the Tavern Breakfast wrap (scrambled eggs, mozzarella, onion, bacon or chicken sausage and spinach tortilla) and their pan au chocolat, which pairs perfectly with all of their coffee cocktails. In addition, their regular Tavern menu is served until midnight each day. Happy hour is offered daily Monday thru Friday from 5-7 p.m. and features half off all house liquor and beer & wine by the glass. Their weekly specials also include Taco Tuesday, Whiskey Wednesday and Tiki Thursdays, which pair well with World Cup soccer. Did we mention they are home to Miami’s largest selection of tequila and whiskey?

Quarterdeck

1035 SE 17th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316

With so many games to catch before the winner is crowned, be sure to watch the matches at Quarterdeck where you won’t have to break the bank to eat (and drink) well. Quarterdeck features happy hour with half price on all starters on Monday thru Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and their menu features lunch specials for just $6.99 and dinner specials for just $15.99, which even includes a domestic draft beer or house wine.
